ER-9 Energy Machine Gun

The ER-9 Energy Machine Gun (originally named EMG MK4) manufactured by OLYMPIAN Incorporated is a futuristic submachine gun designed and modeled by me for a game called Project Vanguard. The weapon's core generates high-powered bursts of plasma by accelerating ionized particles to near-light speeds. The side panels and the front of the gun open up to release heat during a reload or overheat. The "magazine" of the gun functions more as a battery and provides energy until the sidebar on the magazine goes down to red, indicating a need to reload. ER-9 comes with a default red dot sight using holographic projection. Specific attachments for the gun include an extended magazine, extended barrel, accelerator, and railed handguard for additional attachments.

Special Thank to audio lead Zerod for the epic music and sound effects. The video would not be the same without it. It was a blast working with the guys on the team and I learned a lot about teamwork and game development. (This is also my first time using premiere pro and after effects, so any criticism for improvement is very welcomed!)
